Description

Per diem

 

Assist radiology staff with a wide variety of duties to include, but not limited to:

 

  •  Transport patients to and from patient rooms, the emergency department, or other areas as needed.
  •   Clean the cart or wheelchair following the transport of each patient.
  •  Requires interaction with infants, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
  •  Perform EKGs.
  •   Assist technologists in preparing patients for exams, cleaning rooms, restocking linen as needed.
  •   Performs clerical duties as required.
  •    Maintain a neat and clean working area at all times, completing daily cleaning requirements
  •   Demonstrates a competent working knowledge of the operation of the radiology information system.
  •   Demonstrates knowledge of and maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance  and safety, environmental and infection control standards.

  •   Is willing to accept changes in staffing patterns as workload or condition warrants.
  •   Maintains a professional appearance and an orderly/professional work area: complies with dress guidelines.
  •   Maintains patient and hospital confidentiality at all times.
  •    Must possess sufficient interpersonal skills to interact well with patients, physicians, and co-workers.
  •  Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
